Director AI Engineering (AI): Leading a team to deploy innovative AI products and capabilities across hirify.global’s portfolio, with an accent on increasing research productivity and deploying models and agents into production. Focus on designing, deploying, and improving ML systems and AI agents on AWS to meet ultra-low latency and high reliability standards.

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania (at least 3 days a week in-office)

Salary: 4,500 – 6,400 EUR gross monthly

What you will do

• Lead a team of Software Engineers, providing mentorship and fostering an agile way of working.
• Conduct code reviews and design meetings, maintaining high velocity and code quality standards with CI/CD and AI tools.
• Partner with internal business and technical teams across time zones in a distributed environment.
• Design, deploy, and improve ML systems on AWS to meet ultra-low latency and high reliability standards.
• Design, deploy, and improve AI Agents across Market Platforms, Capital Access Platforms, and Anti-Financial Crime divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Clear communicator with experience in leading engineering teams.
• Proficiency in AWS.
• Must be located in Vilnius for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets, FinTech, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to global teams in cross-border collaboration.
