TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (iOS): Building and maintaining the native iOS hirify.global application, working to achieve feature parity across clients, and enabling secure, performant, and user-focused software. With an accent on hands-on development of new features, code reviews, and continuous improvement of the product through staying updated on the iOS development ecosystem. Focus on becoming an expert in the iOS codebase, mentoring other engineers, and contributing to the open-source community.

Location: Remote, U.S. Must be based in the US and able to overlap with the US Eastern Time Zone. US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Salary: $180,000–$215,000

• Become an expert and authority on the iOS codebase.
• Participate in hands-on development of new features and improvements.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Mentor engineers and support their career development.
• Stay updated on iOS development trends and contribute product insights.
• Occasionally contribute bug fixes or shepherd user community pull requests.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in developing complex iOS applications with Swift and SwiftUI, along with strong understanding of iOS UI/UX design & architecture principles.
• Familiarity with unit, UI, and snapshot testing.
• Experience using generative AI coding platforms (e.g., Claude Code).
• Experience with iOS Extensions and TestFlight.
• Ability to overlap with the US Eastern Time Zone is required.
• Must have US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not offered.
