TL;DR

Deal Desk Analyst (Fintech): Partnering with the FinTech Sales team to structure complex deals and review contracts with an accent on pricing strategies, compliance, and risk mitigation. Focus on optimizing revenue, accelerating growth, and streamlining internal processes in a cross-functional environment.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada (at least 3 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Partner with the Sales team to structure complex deals and provide expert guidance during contract negotiations.
• Thoroughly review contracts and ensure compliance with commercial, legal, financial, and operational standards.
• Optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining compliance and mitigating risk.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and product teams to streamline approvals and support accurate revenue recognition.
• Accelerate growth by identifying opportunities to drive operational excellence, reduce risk, and shorten deal cycles.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in Deal Desk, Contract management, or similar roles within software/FinTech.
• Proven ability to solve problems and influence senior stakeholders in complex, high-value deal negotiations.
• Strong understanding of contract terms, pricing principles, and commercial strategy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS pricing models and contract management principles.
• Familiarity with contract management software and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies.
