What you will do

• Perform advanced database performance tuning and optimization across Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and SYBASE environments.
• Provide expert-level support and guidance to internal DBA teams and external clients.
• Ensure high availability, security, and reliability of database systems.
• Monitor and analyze database performance metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable and efficient database solutions.
• Analyze new features and new databases for implementation in software products; support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience as a Database Administrator, with a solid focus on Oracle.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MSSQL, SYBASE, MariaDB, and MySQL.
• Strong SQL scripting and query optimization skills.
• Proven experience in performance troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Good soft skills and a strong commitment to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation frameworks.
