What you will do

• Plan and analyze user requirements for system automation and improvement.
• Lead initiatives across functional agency systems and IT groups, coordinating project development and implementation.
• Define and implement architectural solutions, ensuring they effectively meet agency business needs.
• Oversee the development, analysis, and revision of design procedures, program codes, and quality standards.
• Drive and manage MDM, Data Governance, Big Data, and Cloud Data Management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to execute on the roadmap for data ingestion, integration, and transformation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years’ experience in Architecting and Designing Data pipelines and Data Integrations.
• At least 3 years experience in Architecting and managing large data sets and CDI platforms.
• 3+ years developing Big Data Solutions (architectures, deployments, and operations).
• 4+ years of public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) design and implementation experience.
• Expertise in data models, data pipeline concepts, and cloud-based infrastructure disciplines such as Kubernetes and containerization.
• Deep working knowledge of data technologies such as Snowflake, Kafka, DBT, and Airflow.
