What you will do

• Own end-to-end design of core platform components for massive scale (100K+ QPS, millions of users).
• Drive innovations across distributed compute, storage, consistency, and failure handling for AI infrastructure.
• Build infrastructure powering multimodal inference, on-device AI, real-time cross-device continuity, and GenAI-integrated commerce.
• Guide teams on architecture, code quality, and operational excellence through design and code reviews.
• Drive features from concept to production, collaborating across product, design, and AI/ML teams.
• Shape the technical roadmap by translating complex engineering into simple narratives with business context.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in distributed systems, including partitioning, replication, consistency, and failure modes.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD.
• Strong proficiency in databases (SQL + NoSQL trade-offs, indexing, query optimization).
• Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin, Go, or Python, with experience in high-performance, multi-threaded, low-latency systems.
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines using technologies like Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
• Ability to write clear RFCs/design docs and lead through ambiguity in high-stakes environments.
