Location: Fully remote within Europe, with an office in Riga, Latvia.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with product teams to design and implement new features.
• Take full ownership of solutions in the order management domain, from initial design through to production.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and improve observability systems.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure code quality through testing and best practices.

Requirements

• English: Good level (spoken and written).
• 5+ years' experience with PHP.
• Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design).
• Experience with CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation).
• Experience with Distributed Systems.
• Quality-oriented, following Agile methodologies, SOLID principles, and testing practices (ideally TDD).
• Experience with mentoring team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with Event Sourcing.
• Experience with Monolith extraction into Microservices.
