Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania. Option to work remotely for up to 30 days per year.

Salary: 5,000€ gross per month

What you will do

• Adopt a product mindset and deliver tooling as-a-service to internal developer teams.
• Collaborate with engineering managers and product owners to define the technical roadmap and manage technical debt.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and set engineering excellence standards through code reviews.
• Mentor and coach engineers in system design, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Drive alignment and technical consensus across different teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development with significant expertise in PHP and its modern ecosystem.
• Proven experience in building scalable web applications.
• Deep expertise in at least one major PHP framework (e.g., Symfony, Laravel).
• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis) and practical experience with caching strategies and message queues (e.g., Kafka).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fluent spoken and written English language skills and exceptional communication abilities.
