What you will do
- Manage the permanent control testing process and associated frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with French laws and regulations, particularly the order of 3 December 2014.
- Coordinate, draft, and submit the Annual Internal Control Report (RACI) and other relevant regulatory reports.
- Define and execute the Permanent Control Plan, including control testing and thematic reviews.
- Maintain a structured control register and ensure consistent permanent control issue management.
- Work collaboratively with the Risk Management Function, ensuring strong connectivity between control testing and the risk register.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French is strictly required for drafting regulatory reports and communicating with French regulators.
- 5+ years of experience in risk, compliance, or assurance within the financial services or payments industry.
- Strong experience with European regulations and the capability to conceive or adapt control tests.
- Proven ability to set and execute an annual permanent control test plan and manage the end-to-end testing process.
- Experience managing people, with a proven ability to deliver feedback, mentor a team, and enable others to excel.
- Deep understanding of risk management concepts, such as the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
Nice to have
- An Institute of Internal Audit, internal control, or ACAMS certification is highly preferable.
