What you will do

• Create and maintain tools to enhance efficiency for QA and Development operations, including gameplay bots and validators.
• Integrate ongoing quality efforts throughout the development process, including build pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Establish implementation best practices for the team, ensuring code is optimized for performance and scalability.
• Participate in defining the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy for all projects.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior engineers on project demands.

Requirements

• Experience programming in C# and at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge of Unity and Unity-specific tooling for game development.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and messaging services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Experience designing and building internal development tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams, gather requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience working with game bots or traditional AI systems.
• Experience testing procedurally generated content.
