What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business analysts.
• Integrate banking-related APIs and third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, credit risk systems).
• Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs).
• Experience with microservices architecture and tools like Swagger, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Banking Domain Experience including systems such as counterparty credit risk, payment processing, or core banking platforms (e.g., Oracle FLEXCUBE).
• Understanding of financial regulations, PSD2, SEPA, or similar standards.
• Experience working with banking clients or in financial services projects.
