What you will do

• Design, implement, and enhance scalable data solutions using Data Lake technologies (ideally Delta).
• Build and maintain Change Data Feed pipelines to ensure real-time data accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and support mirroring capabilities for data replication and consistency across environments.
• Engineer modern cloud-native services using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Work with event-driven architectures, including ingestion, orchestration, and processing layers.
• Contribute to solutions built on Microsoft Fabric, integrating data, analytics, and governance capabilities.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Data Lake architectures, including Delta Lake and optimisation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Change Data Feed, mirroring, and real-time data ingestion/processing patterns.
• Hands-on capability with AKS and container-based microservices.
• Practical experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Event Hubs, Kafka, or similar).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, its data engineering components, and integration patterns.
• Clear, concise communication and the ability to explain engineering concepts to diverse audiences.
