Salary: $99,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and support enterprise network technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, SD-WAN, VPN, ZScaler).
• Collaborate with Information Security to implement firewall rules, segmentation, and secure policies.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-connected environments.
• Perform routine upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity, proactively addressing issues for 24/7 operations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, topology diagrams, and runbooks.

Requirements

• Up to 4 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco switches, Meraki wireless, Palo Alto Panorama SD-WAN, GlobalProtect VPN, and ZScaler.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, wireless, and VPN technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work primarily on-site in Richmond, VA, with some flexibility for remote work when business needs allow.
• Will participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network incidents.

Nice to have

• Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco CCNP, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures or secure web gateways (ZScaler).
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network designs.
• Familiarity with automation or scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, logging, and SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices in change management.
