TL;DR

Senior 3D Environmental Artist: Creating high-resolution 3D models and game-ready assets for console and PC sports titles with an accent on unwrapping, baking, and 2D texture maps. Focus on working with an in-house engine to achieve the best possible visual results and problem-solving.

Location: This is an in-person, on-location in-studio position in Adelaide, Australia. You will need to have working rights in Australia, as visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Work with a multi-skilled team to ensure high-quality output for game titles.
• Create high-resolution models for baking and re-topologizing into game-ready assets.
• Produce 3D real-time game-ready models.
• Perform unwrapping and baking of assets.
• Create 2D texture maps for game assets.
• Work with the in-house engine to achieve optimal results.

Requirements

• 3D Art experience.
• Proficiency in Maya (other 3D package knowledge is a plus).
• Experience with Photoshop.
• Skills in Zbrush.
• Understanding and application of PBR techniques.
• Familiarity with Substance texturing packages.
• Good problem-solving skills and excellent communication.
• You will need to have working rights in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Traditional art background.
• Working knowledge of UE4 or Unity.
• Interest in and understanding of sport.
• Good eye for scale.
