What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction and technical implementation of agentic AI projects from concept through deployment.
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure AI/ML infrastructures and application stacks on AWS.
• Develop innovative solutions using a wide range of AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Write and review high-quality, production-ready code, primarily in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver valuable solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends in agentic AI and generative AI technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior or lead engineering role, with substantial applied software development experience (typically 5+ years).
• Deep understanding of core AWS services and cloud-native application design, including infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience with Agentic AI technologies, LLMs, machine learning algorithms, and relevant libraries/tools (e.g., LangChain, PyTorch).
• Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application security principles.
• Must be based in New York, United States.
