Location: Remote from Canada, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. Not available in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk, or Luhansk.

Salary: CAD 154,000–243,600

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of SREs, fostering ownership, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with engineering teams to define observability needs, build roadmaps, and deliver platform capabilities.
• Drive adoption of observability best practices and hirify.global's observability stack across the organization.
• Own SLA monitoring infrastructure for hirify.global Cloud and ensure platform readiness.
• Facilitate technical discussions, navigate trade-offs, and champion reliability improvements.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle for the SRE team, including hiring and career development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, with a focus on mentoring and talent development.
• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering, with deep technical understanding.
• Strong understanding of observability principles: metrics, logs, traces, APM, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience supporting high-scale, multi-tenant global SaaS platforms.
• Experience operating and scaling distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Observability, hirify.globalsearch, Kibana, Beats, and/or APM.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.
• Enjoy working in a distributed company with active, asynchronous communication.
