TL;DR
Senior Data Analyst: Performing IT analysis, system design, and data modeling to support development teams by translating complex business needs into clear, high-quality functional and technical requirements with an accent on designing scalable data models and solutions within the IIS area. Focus on ensuring alignment and transparency between IT and business teams and effective consumption of solutions by development teams.
Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk (2-3 days per week from the office)
Salary: 110–150 PLN/h on B2B (approx. 17,600–24,000 PLN/month)

What you will do
- Perform IT, investigative data analysis, system design, and data modelling.
- Lead or facilitate functional and non-functional requirements and analysis work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment and transparency of requirements between IT and business teams.
- Build contextual understanding of business processes and functional/technical know-how of solutions.
Requirements
- Experienced in relational databases design and querying, including optimization.
- Familiar with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, Impala, pySpark, HQL) and data formats (JSON/AVRO).
- Experienced with use and expansion of standardized data models (e.g., Canonical Data Model).
- Experienced in defining and forming business & technical requirements into an understandable format.
- Experienced with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, Java.
- Utilized Jira and Bitbucket for project tracking and version control.
- Able to collaborate with development teams (developers, architects, IT analysts).
Nice to have
- Finance background and/or banking experience preferred.
