Junior Data Analyst

TL;DR

Junior Data Analyst (Finance/Reporting): Preparing financial reports and analyzing profitability for various products and departments with an accent on accurate calculations and timely execution. Focus on supporting month-end closing processes and identifying areas for process automation.

Location: Fully remote worldwide, with an option for hybrid or onsite work in Gdańsk, Poland.

What you will do

• Prepare reports and statements for the finance department and management team.
• Prepare calculations of results for individual products according to agreements.
• Analyze profitability by product and company department.
• Support the month-end closing process and internal reporting.
• Cooperate with the accounting department on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a finance-related department (controlling, audit, or accounting).
• Highly developed analytical skills.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good command of English (minimum B1 level), both spoken and written.
• Fluent Polish (spoken and written) is required.
• Ability to organize own work effectively and automate tasks.

Nice to have

• University degree in accounting, finance, or mathematics.
• Interest in new technologies and process automation.
• Knowledge of management and financial accounting.
• Knowledge of VBA, Google Apps Script, or Python.
