Salary: $208,000–$333,000 (Chicago range).

What you will do

  • Define and execute the merchandising strategy for inventory, offers, and product attributes across global brands.
  • Lead the roadmap for discovery features, including ranking, filters, badging, and offer presentation.
  • Build scalable, automated merchandising systems that utilize real-time context.
  • Drive rigorous experimentation to improve relevance, clarity, and conversion rates.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and design to deliver high-quality platform solutions.
  • Mentor and develop product managers to maintain rigor and judgment in high-volume retail environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, specifically in ecommerce or merchandising.
  • Proven track record managing high-volume retail or shopping platforms.
  • Deep understanding of discovery, ranking, relevance, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional partnerships across engineering, design, and analytics.
  • Ability to create and communicate structured roadmaps in complex retail system architectures.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Background in pricing clarity, retail logic, or dynamic content modeling.
  • Familiarity with ML-driven signals for ranking, recommendations, and relevance.
  • Experience designing for multi-brand or multi-market environments.
