Software Engineer (PHP)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (PHP): Building and scaling the backend systems behind a global health and wellness marketplace, focusing on seamless checkout experiences and robust infrastructure. Focus on maintaining platforms that serve as the foundation for all products within the company and writing clean code.

Location: Amazing workspaces in Vilnius (4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote), Kaunas (onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role), Klaipėda and Riga.

Salary: 3000 – 4800 EUR/month.

• Design, build, and operate health tech services used by millions of customers.
• Be responsible for building and maintaining platforms that serve as the foundation for all products within the company.
• Work autonomously with agile processes adapted to the team’s and project’s needs.

• Write clean code that serves as an example to others.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of experience working with PHP and Laravel (Symfony works too).
• Have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Have experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Have a solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns.
• Have understanding and experience of high availability and modern Cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes.
• Have solid English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in TypeScript or Golang is a plus.
