Software Engineer (PHP)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (PHP): Building and scaling backend systems for a global health and wellness marketplace with an accent on seamless checkout experiences and robust infrastructure. Focus on designing, building, and operating health tech services for millions of customers, and maintaining foundational platforms for all company products.

Location: This role is based in our offices in Vilnius, Lithuania (4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote), or our hubs in Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Riga. Candidates must be able to work from one of these locations. The company also offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world for 2 months per year.

Salary: 3,000–4,800 EUR/month (gross)

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with PHP and Laravel (Symfony also applicable).
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns.
• Understanding and experience of high availability and modern Cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes.
• Willingness to help platform customers, investigate issues, spikes, and anomalies.
• Solid English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in TypeScript or Golang.
