TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer (AdTech): Building an internal ads platform that will deliver a native ads experience at scale with an accent on integrating ads into all areas of hirify.global and significantly contributing to the overall revenue. Focus on developing a robust and scalable platform using Golang.

Location: Vilnius, Kaunas. Hybrid work model with 2 days in the office recommended but not enforced.

Salary: € 4,975 - € 6,725 gross per month.

What you will do

  • Work alongside backend and site reliability to build a robust and scalable platform.
  • Shape Golang standards and apply Agile and Lean principles.
  • Collaborate with other developers through GitHub pull requests and code reviews, actively looking for solutions to use AI in automating the reviewing process.
  • Use AI tools to improve code and see code affect millions of users almost instantly through frequent deployments.
  • Work with a diverse tech stack, including Go, Ruby, Scala, MySQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and Apache Flink.
  • Take ownership of critical alerts and business metrics to ensure services achieve 99.99% availability.

Requirements

  • Solid backend engineering skills with expertise in Golang or similar programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling AdTech solutions.
  • Eagerness to master new technologies and concepts.
  • Practical thinking, choosing the best solutions, avoiding over-engineering, and prioritizing simplicity.
  • Readiness to take action, fight for your own ideas, and challenge others to make their ideas bulletproof.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-domain teams and non-technical stakeholders.
