What you will do
- Lead and oversee global operational accounting processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) and teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and execute strategic direction for finance operations, creating a roadmap for process optimisation, automation, and capability building.
- Drive transformational process improvements, implementing automation, standardisation, and digital tools for scalable and efficient finance operations.
- Serve as the senior operational finance owner for a major ERP implementation (Workday to SAP), partnering with Technology, Data, and Business teams.
- Build, lead, and develop large, distributed operational finance teams (100+) across multiple functions and locations.
- Maintain a robust control framework, partnering with internal and external auditors and identifying risks to ensure the integrity of financial processes.
Requirements
- Extensive background in leading operational accounting or finance operations in a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Proven expertise in leading large teams (50+) with experience managing multi-location or shared-services functions.
- Deep knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R) and financial close processes.
- Hands-on leadership of a major ERP migration (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).
- Strong systems mindset with comfort in data flows, master data, process automation, and controls.
- A collaborative, influential leadership style with the ability to drive meaningful change.
