Senior Engineering Manager (Fintech): Leading a cross-functional team to build a resilient and flexible payin system for customers and sellers with an accent on payment technology innovation, internal wallets, open banking, and AI. Focus on enabling strategic initiatives like subscriptions and next-generation wallet infrastructure, driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, 3 days per week required at the office (Monday is mandatory)

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team of 8 engineers (backend, frontend, mobile).
• Collaborate with product and other tribes to align the team with company objectives.
• Ensure the development of people and teams through coaching and mentoring.
• Create an inclusive team environment with open communication and a culture of feedback.
• Work in an agile "build it and run it" environment.
• Identify and make improvements in processes, practices, and product to increase delivery proficiency.

Requirements

• Experience and passion for growing, developing, and guiding people.
• Openness to receiving and giving feedback in a safe workplace.
• Background as an individual contributor with a willingness to help the team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Knowledge of tech stack including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, RestFul API, Python, Django, VueJs, Nuxt, Datadog, clean architecture, micro-services, DDD, and API monitoring tools.
