Focus on automating recurring security reports and improving reporting processes and workflows.

Location: This is a home-based internship role in Costa Rica

Salary: $1,000 a month for the 9-month internship.

What you will do

• Help develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize security metrics and trends for multiple partners.
• Collect, clean, and analyze security-related data from multiple sources, using SQL Server, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Help automate recurring security reports and help improve reporting processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with security analysts and IT staff to identify new metrics, track (KPIs), and provide relevant insights.
• Document reporting procedures and maintain comprehensive records to support audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years completed study in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of PowerBI to create visualizations and SQL server to create database queries.
• English proficiency of at least B2.
• Be available 36 hours of the week for the internship.
• You must be enrolled in the university for the next 9 months of the internship.
• Be available to start in May 2026.
