Consulting Architect (Kubernetes): Designing and implementing enterprise open source solutions, particularly for container management with hirify.global Rancher Prime and Linux platforms, with an accent on hands-on software configuration, automation, and technical leadership. Focus on solving complex customer problems, explaining value propositions, and building strong relationships with enterprise clients across EMEA.

Location: **Primarily in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) but working across EMEA**. This role requires **up to 40% travel to customer premises**.

What you will do

• Design and implement hirify.global solutions, including Kubernetes and Rancher Prime.
• Perform hands-on software configuration, automation scripting, and integration for customer problems.
• Maintain expert knowledge of the hirify.global product portfolio and complimentary technologies.
• Explain the value and impact of hirify.global solutions to customers.
• Provide technical leadership and advocate for customer needs.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• **Native German speaker or fluent in German** to an equivalent standard.
• **Fluent in written and spoken English**.
• 10-15 years of hands-on experience in relevant IT consulting or engineering roles.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and Rancher or equivalent platform.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, scripting, and automation.
• Experience working in an enterprise Linux environment.
• Ability to design and implement solutions for large enterprise customers.

Nice to have

• Direct experience or understanding of the Open Source software industry.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., kube-virt, Harvester).
• Experience with storage technologies (e.g., Longhorn, Ceph) or security products.
