Location: Hybrid role based in Linz, Austria with up to 50% home office. A Work From Abroad Program allows up to 40 days of work outside the contracting country.

Salary: €3,843 gross per month (minimum, market-competitive overpayment possible).

What you will do

• Develop and implement software architecture strategies aligned with business goals.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions end-to-end across the customer journey.
• Conduct detailed architectural concept reviews, providing feedback and suggestions.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and provide strategic advice on complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, operations, marketing, and support teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 11 years of experience in software engineering, demonstrating mastery within complex architectures and various domains.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, development techniques, and tools including VCS, IDEs, CI/CD, and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency in design and architectural patterns (e.g., SOLID principles) and advanced experience in agile software development.
• Hands-on development guidance using tech stack like Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, React, C++, C#.
• Strong ability to convey complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English: B2 required.
