Location: Hybrid role, with office locations in New York, NY, Sunnyvale, CA, and Bellevue, WA. Remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will attend onboarding at one of our hubs, and teams gather quarterly for collaboration. Must conform to U.S. Government export regulations, requiring applicants to be a U.S. person or eligible to access export controlled information.

Salary: $188,000–$275,000

• Lead the architecture and technical direction for build, test, and deploy platforms.
• Champion innovation in software delivery and set the long-term vision for the ecosystem.
• Define and enforce standards for reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps and track key KPIs.
• Drive execution with a focus on operational excellence and technical debt management.
• Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization, mentoring senior engineers and technical leads.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or internal developer teams.
• Proven experience designing, building, and operating build, test, and deploy platforms at scale.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices, code review workflows, and branching/release strategies.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
• Skilled in defining KPIs, tracking performance, and delivering measurable improvements.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and modern deployment practices.
• Strong communicator, able to articulate vision, strategy, and technical direction.

• Background in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and delivery performance measurement.
• Exposure to supply-chain security and compliance.
• Experience leading teams in a distributed environment.
