What you will do
- Identify and resolve desktop/laptop hardware problems.
- Perform initial network troubleshooting and determine appropriate escalation paths.
- Resolve and proactively work on virus issues and initiatives.
- Assist in new system deployments and loading appropriate software as needed.
- Manage incidents escalated from the first line of support.
- Write support documentation for customer and/or departmental use.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.
- Certifications preferred.
- Up to 2 years experience in a desktop support environment preferred.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to thrive in a critical environment.
- Attention to detail, strong follow through skills, and dependability.
- Must be able to work off-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Must be assigned to an on-call rotation for 24/7 support.
- May require local travel and other business travel.
