UK And Global Obligations Specialist (Cybersecurity): Responsible for ensuring BT meets legal obligations under the Investigatory Powers Act by designing, implementing, and supporting systems for legal information delivery. What you will do
- Ensure obligations systems deliver legally required information and services to authorised agencies.
- Design and implement network and system designs for obligatory platforms, including requirements capture, design, implementation, and VV&T.
- Provide 3rd/4th line technical support to operational teams to resolve complex live issues.
- Ensure all project work complies with Government legal requirements, policies, and BT security standards.
- Track new product development and network platform evolution to maintain relevant obligations capability.
- Occasionally travel globally for durations of up to two weeks at a time.
Requirements
- Significant experience designing and configuring VMWare.
- Experience configuring Linux, Windows Server, and AAA.
- Experience in solution design and/or system engineering.
- Knowledge of security measures required to protect systems/data.
- Experience in designing and configuring IP networks.
- Knowledge of UK broadband network architectures and their associated OSS tools.
- Knowledge of BT products and services including their platforms and underlying network architectures.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and its application to technology and data in the obligations space.
- Experience working with government in regulatory areas.
- DV Security Clearance is required, necessitating 10+ years of residence in the UK.
