Location: Based at headquarters in San Mateo, CA, United States. This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $5,120 USD (monthly, based on 20 hours/week)

What you will do

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to research and develop advanced data analytics, causal inference, experiment design, and machine learning solutions.
• Conduct in-depth research to address complex data-related challenges.
• Work on projects that have a real impact on hirify.global products, services, and business strategy.
• Apply your work to expedite product innovations, including in-experience experiments and dynamic resource allocation.
• Present your findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Possessing or pursuing a PhD degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Economics, or Computational Social Science.
• At least 1 year of experience doing causal inference, machine learning, or experiment design via research or prior internship.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Proficiency in big data query/processing languages and tools such as SQL, Hive, Spark, or Airflow.
• Passion for applying scientific rigor to advance dynamic consumer products.

• Experience in developing production solutions.
• Experience with ML modeling.
