Salary: $107,770 – $127,000 CAD

What you will do

• Assist development teams with appropriate selection and use of technical frameworks, platforms, and design patterns.
• Develop and implement solutions and model architecture based on business requirements.
• Create specifications and design for all application projects, including ETL, BI, and integration.
• Lead collective groups, identify requirements, analyze solution options, and gain consensus on data models.
• Provide technical leadership for end-to-end solution design and associated validation tests.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all clinical and non-clinical systems projects, models, and designs.
• Mentor individual junior developers and perform detailed technical reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant project management experience, with 2-3 years at a senior level within the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in all types of configurations (acute/core, ambulatory, reg/sched, pharmacy, financials, etc.).
• Preference for Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) domain knowledge, or other EMR configuration experience (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Demonstrable understanding of architecture principles, healthcare technology, and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English: B2 required
