Junior BI Analyst (Business Intelligence): Supporting the migration and development of reporting tools and dashboards, and playing a key role in shaping the analytics capability of the business with an accent on Power BI, SQL, and Excel. Focus on developing and maintaining dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and continuously developing skills in data analytics.

Location: Primarily remote with occasional office days (1x per fortnight) in Peterborough OR Halifax, England

Salary: £30,000 per annum + discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Support the migration of Excel and Tableau reports into Power BI.
• Implement updates and enhancements to existing dashboards under guidance.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reliable outputs.
• Document datasets, reports, and business logic to maintain BI standards.
• Undertake routine reporting and operational tasks to support the wider team.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data concepts and experience working with structured datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Comfortable with Excel and legacy reporting formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Organised and capable of managing routine tasks effectively.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating reports from Excel or Tableau into Power BI.
• Hands on experience building basic Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Awareness of data modelling concepts.
