Data, Performance & Insight Analyst (Data Analytics): Driving strategic decisions through best-in-class reporting and analytics, with an accent on translating insights into recommendations and supporting Senior Leaders. Focus on developing analytical solutions using Power BI and Excel, monitoring strategic priorities, and articulating strategy through data-driven presentations.

Location: Hybrid working, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds, Halifax or Edinburgh office.

Salary: £39,825 - £47,000 per annum

What you will do

• Work across a large variety of topics using consulting-style methodologies.
• Own and develop analytical solutions with a focus on translating insights into recommendations.
• Play an integral role in strategic workforce planning and reporting.
• Utilise Power BI and Power Query Editor to develop both ad-hoc and regular reporting.
• Monitor and provide recommendations against Business Unit strategic priorities.
• Translate data and insights into engaging presentations for Senior Leadership forums.

Requirements

• Passion for data visualisation & manipulation, expertly using Power BI & Excel.
• A keen problem solver, able to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information.
• Strong numerical analysis and interpretation skills with a high level of numeracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce compelling data-driven storytelling to support executive decision-making.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to leverage a network of business management colleagues.
