What you will do
- Manage and mentor a team of 8+ backend engineers.

- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Balance near, medium, and long-term objectives to achieve business goals.
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs and provide strong technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience.
- 9+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience (or 7+ years with Master's, 4+ years with PhD).
- 1+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
- Background in building high-availability and mission-critical systems.
- Proven ability to lead an engineering team and execute complex initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to have
- Experience with push notifications, telephony, and email systems.
- Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience building and maintaining mission-critical global systems.
