TL;DR

Network Support Engineer (Wireless Network Solutions): Providing technical expertise, including installations, troubleshooting, and configuration of routers and wireless network equipment for global enterprise customers. Focus on managing incident resolution, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and collaborating with network support engineers across different time zones to resolve network malfunctions.

Location: Arnhem, Netherlands. Hybrid working approach with opportunities to collaborate at office spaces.

What you will do

  • Provide technical expertise including installations, troubleshooting, deployment and configuring routers and other wireless network equipment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation associated with the implemented network.
  • Manage technical testing and virtual global support via different messaging apps based on clients’ location.
  • Provide first line support for global enterprise customers through voice calls, emails and tickets.
  • Take ownership and manage incident resolution for any network support matters according to our SLA from beginning to end.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols.
  • Problem-solving skills on basic network issues.
  • Cisco/Juniper certifications (a great advantage but not a must).
  • Knowledge of Peplink, HP Aruba switching.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a team player, and has no problems assisting customers over the phone.
  • Able to work on a schedule of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week which can include Saturdays and Sundays.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge on WiFi products like Extreme or other related brands will be advantageous.
  • Spanish is very advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of customer’s issue from start to finish.
  • Critical thinker.
