What you will do
- Own a vision and strategy for multiple complex products, potentially across programmes or portfolios.
- Develop a product strategy and appropriate artefacts to effectively communicate plans and get stakeholder buy-in.
- Champion user needs by translating them into a clear product strategy for digital services.
- Gather and analyse data to inform decisions, frame problems, and set priorities for delivery teams.
- Lead services through various lifecycle stages following GOV.UK Service Manual standards & principles, including service assessments.
- Coach product managers within the community, support their personal development, and contribute to recruitment.
Requirements
- Passion for product management and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong leadership skills with experience engaging diverse users and stakeholders to create, validate, and deliver product vision and strategy.
- Track record of delivering successful products that solve identified problems, meet user needs, and deliver value.
- Good knowledge of product management hirify.global, approaches, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in the application of product management in the public sector, particularly with GOV.UK Service Manual principles and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex and technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Experienced in coaching others to develop a successful product culture and mindset.
