What you will do

  • Lead experienced product teams focused on editorial technology and commercial/revenue operations platforms.
  • Build strong partnerships with newsroom, commercial, and operational teams to shape priorities and workflows.
  • Set the long-term strategy for modernizing internal products and aligning capabilities across functions.
  • Work closely with engineering and data teams to simplify end-to-end processes and reduce duplication.
  • Oversee editorial systems, workflow automation, communication platforms, and shared operational tools.
  • Support clear decision-making and prioritization, focusing on long-term impact for internal products.

Requirements

  • Have an interest in internal products, platform, or workflow modernization efforts in complex organisations.
  • Enjoy understanding how large organisations actually work and guiding teams toward simpler, more coherent and more efficient systems.
  • Can work confidently across editorial, commercial and operational teams, building trusted relationships.
  • Combine subject matter understanding with a willingness to learn deeply about new domains, constraints and workflows.
  • Are comfortable navigating legacy systems and modernisation opportunities at the same time.
  • Empower teams while staying close enough to the work to provide clarity, guidance and thoughtful challenge.
