TL;DR

Technical Billing Support Engineer (SAP, Cloud): Providing expert-level technical assistance for complex billing and invoice product issues, contributing to product and process improvement. Focus on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems across software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure, working closely with engineering on bug fixes.

Location: Must be based in Spain (Barcelona or Santander)

What you will do

  • Provide expert billing and technical support via phone and email to customers.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems across software, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Reconcile invoicing to vendor invoices or SAP and process credits/debits as needed.
  • Reproduce issues, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering on bug fixes and feature requests.
  • Create and maintain internal runbooks, FAQs, and technical documentation.
  • Lead incident response or participate in on-call rotation for critical issues.

Requirements

  • Experience processing credits and debits within an invoicing system.
  • Deep experience with SAP, SaaS platforms, APIs, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in billing and invoicing, with critical thinking and clear communication under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, integrations, or system architecture.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) and knowledge bases.
  • Experience working with Webservers (Apache, IIS) and Databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Basic understanding or experience working on Linux environments.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written professional communication.
  • Flexibility working some weekends and later hours to help fulfill a 24x7 business.

Nice to have

  • ITIL certification.
  • Microsoft Azure certification.
  • Hands-on experience with other Cloud platforms, such as GCP.
  • Programming/scripting experience on Bash, Python, PowerShell, PHP, or SQL.
  • Exposure to virtualization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
