Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Fintech): Leads delivery of software and service solutions for financial services clients, managing projects from proposal to implementation and rollout with an accent on client implementation, risk management, and governance. Focus on engaging with delivery and engineering teams to align plans with contractual timelines and ensure client satisfaction.

Location: Hybrid - At least 2 days on site in London, Tower Bridge HQ. The role requires working from the London office at least two days per week and occasional travel to client sites.

What you will do

• Manage client implementation and change projects from proposal through to successful delivery.
• Oversee project scope, time, cost, and quality within agreed statements of work.
• Engage with delivery leads and engineering teams to develop aligned delivery plans.
• Establish financial control, track projects, and manage risks and changes.
• Ensure customer critical success factors and acceptance criteria are understood and reflected in quality assurance.
• Regularly report project status to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in project management of customer and internal software delivery projects, including change and risk management.
• Experience in Financial Services (Mortgage, Property, Banking).
• Experience establishing project governance with customers, suppliers, technical delivery teams and operational areas.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Delivery, Prince 2 Practitioner, Project Management Professional, or similar project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with workflow and software development management tools such as JIRA or Microsoft DevOps.
• Comfortable with multiple concurrent project deliveries and multi-tasking.

Nice to have

• Experience in projects involving mortgage processing, workflow and automated decisioning systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing complex systems integration across multiple organisations.
