Senior Product Designer (Travel App)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working with office attendance required 2 days per week.

Salary: EUR 75,000–90,000 gross per year, including 8% holiday allowance, based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Lead design for the Digital Relive team, creating ways for travelers to relive trips in the app and through shareable formats such as Trip Reels and Map Video.
• Own the full product design lifecycle from concepting and prototyping through iteration based on design reviews, user testing, feedback, and share-rate data.
• Maintain and evolve design and brand guidelines, including the visual direction of shareable formats.
• Own a product pillar while collaborating with other product areas to maintain a smooth and consistent experience.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to specify designs and ensure implementation fidelity down to the last pixel and color.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing products.
• A strong portfolio with shipped designs demonstrating end-to-end hybrid UX and UI product design.
• Strong visual skills in typography, layout, and storytelling.
• Experience designing native mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with user insights and testing, including A/B tests and usability studies.
• A proactive, product-oriented mindset with involvement across the product development process.
• Fluency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar, and prototyping tools such as Principle, ProtoPie, or similar.
• Experience partnering with engineers to drive QA processes and uphold implementation fidelity.
• Genuine interest in motion, video, and visual storytelling.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with motion or video tools such as After Effects or Premiere.
• Experience designing for social platforms such as Instagram or TikTok.
