Senior Product Designer

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (UI/UX): Leading the design of “Focus-Projects” team initiatives, tackling technically complex and highly creative tasks. Focus on shaping new features from concept to launch, across the entire application lifecycle, and ensuring designs are well-specced and built as intended.

Location: Hybrid working, work from home and the office, everyone is asked to be in the office 2 days a week. A lively office in downtown Amsterdam, with travel costs reimbursed.

What you will do

• Lead the design of the "Focus-Projects" team, tackling technically complex and highly creative initiatives, shaping new features from 0 to 1 across the entire app.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle of concepting, prototyping, and iterating based on design reviews, user testing, and feedback.
• Implement and maintain the existing design & brand guidelines while also creating and adapting guidelines to elevate the overall hirify.global design.
• Own your product pillar, while maintaining close collaboration with the other pillars; proactively ask for and share feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure designs are well-specced and built as intended.

Requirements

• Being a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience designing lovable products.
• A strong portfolio, with shipped designs, that demonstrates end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design.
• Experience designing for native mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with user insights and testing, like A/B tests and usability studies.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for getting involved in the entire product development process.
• Fluency in modern design tools such as Figma/Sketch or similar and prototyping tools such as Principle/Protopie or similar.
• Skills in partnering with engineers to drive QA processes and uphold implementation fidelity.
