What you will do

• Define and own the automation and analytics roadmap for infrastructure services.
• Lead design and delivery of automation frameworks supporting IaaS, server support, and DBA teams.
• Plan, design, integrate, and test automation solutions for VM lifecycle, containerisation, and infrastructure orchestration.
• Introduce emerging technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana, VMware Aria Ops) and drive Infrastructure-as-Code adoption.
• Mentor, coach, and manage senior developers and engineers within the Automation & Analytics team.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, engineers, and operations teams to identify use cases and deliver efficiencies.

Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience designing and delivering Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Ansible/AAP/AWX, Packer, Jenkins, and Git.
• Advanced expertise across VMware ESXi/vCenter/NSX, OpenShift Virtualisation, KVM, and Nutanix.
• Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift administration, including orchestration, optimisation, and scaling.
• High-level scripting capability in Python, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining analytics dashboards using Grafana, Tableau, or VMware Aria Ops.

Nice to have

• Experience representing hirify.global in external working groups or with suppliers.
• Knowledge of broadcast/datacentre infrastructure installations.
• Familiarity with cloud computing disciplines (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, NaaS) and exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
