Salary: $185,000–$232,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and evolve hirify.global’s cloud and runtime platform, including Kubernetes (EKS) and supporting infrastructure.
• Own platform primitives and services that standardize how teams deploy, operate, and observe systems in production.
• Drive reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence across platform-managed services.
• Establish architectural standards and best practices for service runtime, networking, configuration, and deployment.
• Build observability foundations using OpenTelemetry and tools such as Datadog, Sumo Logic, or similar.
• Mentor engineers across the organization on cloud-native and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant focus on platform or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and managed container platforms (EKS strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Go or Python.
• Deep understanding of observability, including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across many teams.
