What you will do
- Ensure the reliability and high availability of hirify.global cloud products in private cloud environments.
- Respond to support escalations, troubleshooting complex technical problems and resolving data/configuration issues.
- Develop software, tools, and scripts to automate deployment, management, and monitoring of production systems.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to understand new cloud technologies and propose solutions to business problems.
- Drive standardization efforts across multiple disciplines and services.
- Remediate infrastructure and container security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- U.S citizen required
- 6+ years of related SRE experience.
- Apply core software engineering fundamentals to solve complex reliability and scalability challenges.
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaC technologies.
- 2+ year experience with platform development in compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
- 3+ years deploying public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) including administering managed AWS services (EKS, OpenSearch, MSK, Batch, etc.).
- Strong background in bash scripting and experience in higher-level scripting languages like Python or Node.js.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying distributed, microservice oriented applications.
- Experience with distributed monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, OTEL, etc.
- Experience with datastore technologies: Kafka, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Helm.
- Experience with Go, Java/Kotlin, and/or Groovy.
