TL;DR

Senior Analyst (Growth/B2B SaaS): Owns growth measurement and operations by defining PLG funnel metrics, running experimentation, and building operational frameworks to coordinate between product, commercial, and data teams. Focus on diagnosing drop-offs, identifying first-value moments, and ensuring data quality for growth insights.

Location: Hybrid - Ideally looking at someone who can come to the office at least once a week in Dublin, Ireland or Boston, United States.

What you will do

  • Define and own activation, TTFV, and retention definitions, North Star metrics, and guardrails for core growth metrics.
  • Map the PLG funnel, diagnose drop-offs, size opportunities, and propose tests to improve conversion.
  • Identify first-value moments, recommend in-product nudges, and analyze packaging/pricing experiments.
  • Partner with product managers to set success metrics and monitor feature rollouts, ensuring PLG measurement needs are met.
  • Draft hypotheses, define success metrics, and pre-register analyses to run the experimentation engine.
  • Build self-serve dashboards, ship regular insights, and quarterly syntheses on activation and growth learnings.
  • Work with data engineering to design pipelines, write data tests, and monitor data quality for growth data sources.
  • Coordinate between rev ops, data engineering, platforms, and product teams, assessing tooling needs and instrumenting growth tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in growth analytics or similar with a strong focus on PLG and self-serve funnels.
  • Deep experience with product-led growth motions in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong SQL skills, confident with CTEs, window functions, and building funnels, cohorts, and retention analyses.
  • Proficiency with BI tools for dashboard creation (Omni).
  • Experience with product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar).
  • Experimentation fluency, including designing powered experiments and rigorous analysis.
  • Operational mindset and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication, tailoring messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter mentality, able to unblock themselves when facing obstacles.

Nice to have

  • Experience with dbt for data modelling.
  • Familiarity with experiment platforms (GrowthBook, Optimizely).
  • Python for data analysis and statistical modelling.
  • React or frontend framework understanding for deeper instrumentation work.
  • Experience scaling PLG at B2B SaaS companies from startup to scale-up.
