What you will do

• Create and elaborate test plans to validate features and bug fixes.
• Create and develop automated test cases for both backend and frontend teams.
• Identify opportunities to implement automation on identified regressions.
• Research and suggest new ways to improve quality and tools for testing.
• Take an active role during sprint planning and scrum meetings within the squads.
• Work closely with the development team and Product to improve the existing product.
• Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with automation, API testing, performance testing, and databases.
• Relevant work experience in the QA area, beyond just the testing phase.
• Experience in large software systems in Java, JavaScript, or .Net.
• Adept at Agile development processes (daily stand ups, test driven development, etc).
• Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or other test frameworks.
• Experience in OO development paradigm and SQL.
• Knowledge of Gitflow processes.
• Experience in business, training, and processes documentation.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great team player.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with JMeter and other tools to perform stress, performance, and load tests.
• Quality and process oriented.
