Platform Control Plane Product Lead (Kubernetes)

TL;DR

Platform Control Plane Product Lead (Kubernetes): Responsible for defining the vision and evolution of hirify.global Cloud's Control Plane infrastructure and orchestration product portfolio. Focus on working with engineering to set the roadmap for distributed data stores, containers, and Kubernetes, managing a team of product managers, and collaborating on go-to-market strategies.

Location: Remote globally, except for individuals located in or nationals of Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic (“DNR”), and the Luhansk People’s Republic (“LNR”).

What you will do

• Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for hirify.global Cloud and its orchestration product portfolio.
• Directly manage a team of highly skilled, technical product managers.
• Ensure awareness and alignment of critical features and changes across product and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, and competitive analysis.
• Gather market, competitive, customer, and usage data to develop product insights.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience in software engineering organizations.
• Minimum 10 years in Product Management, with at least 5 years leading product teams and managing technology-focused products.
• Excellent written and spoken communications skills.
• Solid understanding and familiarity with infrastructure cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed data stores and developer-focused products in general.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with the hirify.global Stack or its common use-cases.
• Comfort working in a very cross-functional role with a highly distributed, global team.
• Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies.
• Experience with products offered via both SaaS and self-managed delivery models.
• Good sense of user experience and design.
