What you will do
- Build and manage relationships with technical peers in key enterprise customer accounts.
- Proactively drive technical initiatives and oversee all pre-sales activity.
- Develop strategies to increase penetration into UK Enterprise customer targets across a mixture of verticals.
- Identify new sales opportunities that build pipeline and develop technical solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Maintain technical excellence, optimize solutions for revenue, and serve as the technical lead on final proposals.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior peers within the hirify.global UK organization.
Requirements
- Excellent communications skills, presenting to small and large audiences.
- Strong understanding of modern technologies and competitive offerings, including infrastructure data storage, virtualization, cloud, cloud-native, FinOps, DevOps, AI, and data protection & recovery.
- Able to build strong financial and commercial arguments for TCO and procurement methods.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
- Ability to build firm business relationships with customers from technical buyer through to C-Level executives.
- Ability to travel to customer & partner sites for face-to-face engagement(s) around London, UK and infrequent international travel.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar related field.
- 10 years experience in field pre-sales, technical consulting, or professional services.
- Expertise & qualification in data storage and data management solutions, including backup and recovery, disaster recovery, cloud storage, and data analytics.
- Prior Industry experience working for or with global data-storage vendor labels or service providers.
