What you will do

• Be the architect for a major business area, influencing best practices and technical leadership.
• Design and implement high-performance, scalable improvements to form the bedrock of the product ecosystem.
• Define the long-term technical roadmap for the Platform team, ensuring sustainable ownership.
• Lead by example, writing elegant, robust code for complex foundational requirements.
• Act as the primary technical partner for the newly forming team, setting standards for engineering excellence.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to grow experienced Software Engineers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale software and highly available and reliable distributed systems.
• Experience building and implementing long-term technical strategy.
• Desire to expand technical influence across teams while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
• Ability to create effective designs to solve complex problems and lead teams to implement them.
• Significant experience using multiple programming languages, especially Java, and a broad range of tools like Springboot, Hibernate, and databases.
• Effective communication skills to give impactful feedback.
