Location: Must be based in Ireland or the United Kingdom and have the right to work independently without requiring sponsorship. Regular (monthly-ish) and quarterly-ish travel may be required for team meetings and events.

What you will do

• Design, build and ship new features for the Enterprise Policy Manager and robust APIs.
• Integrate and maintain high-fidelity security data feeds for automated policy enforcement.
• Ensure systems are fast, reliable, and run smoothly at global scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customer success to solve complex security problems.
• Prioritize quality and security through rigorous testing, monitoring, and sustainable engineering habits.
• Mentor others through code reviews and documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building, testing, and maintaining complex distributed systems in production.
• Strong experience with Python (Django) is preferred; experience with Golang or Rust is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS and other services (e.g. Lambda, ECS, Postgres, Clickhouse, S3, Kinesis, Kafka, Terraform).
• Familiarity with software supply chain security, vulnerability scanning, or policy-as-code.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS), container runtimes, and continuous integration.
• An enthusiastic and effective communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
