What you will do

• Lead and support a team of seven data scientists, managing capacity and hiring.
• Foster a high-performance culture across distributed teams in Berlin and Bangalore.
• Design and maintain scalable systems for complex data science projects.
• Plan and execute multi-dependency projects aligned with architectural standards.
• Improve team methodologies and technical processes for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Backend Engineering to align roadmaps.
• Stay hands-on with technical implementation, data insights, experiments, and A/B testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Science with leadership in technical settings.
• Significant AdTech industry expertise including programmatic auctions and inventory valuation.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), and Big Data tools (PySpark, Google Cloud Vertex AI).
• Fluency in statistical analysis, data mining, and experimental design.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative field preferred.
